How to get to Jerez

Jerez de la Frontera is one of the major cities in Andalusia, located in the beautiful Costa de la Luz, in Spain.  Jerez has gradually become the major transport place in the province of Cádiz, the main economic engine of the province. 

The city is located in the western part of Andalusia, near the Guadalete river.  Its excellent location makes places it only 15 minutes from the beach, 35 minutes from the Sierra de Grazalema, and 1 hour from Sevilla.  Enjoy getting around once you arrive in the city with your own Jerez rental car.

Jerez airport hosts many flights from Madrid, Barcelona, Palma de Mallorca, London, and Frankfurt.  If you are planning to fly directly into Jerez airport you can arrange for a Jerez car hire to await your arrival there.

If Jerez is a part of your tour of Spain you can easily plan to get there by train or bus.  Jerez is on the main line between Sevilla and Cadiz, via the FENFE, Spanish National Railway.  Consorcio de Transportes Bahía de Cádiz operate a semi-regular bus route between Cádiz and Jerez Airport.  A rental car in Jerez can meet you at the train station as well as the airport.

If you are already driving around Spain you can reach Jerez by motorway Jerez-Sevilla AP-4 / E-5 from Sevilla.  If you are coming from the Northwest Coast, towns like Chipiona and Sanlucar, you can reach Jerez by the A-480.
